For our afternoon excursion we took a boat for one hour to the St. Naum Monastery and the springs that are the source of Lake Ohrid. They monastery is right on the border with Albania and so I was able to see the beautiful mountains and a city in Albania from the boat.

- Recreation of bronze age stilt village. Stilts and artifacts from the real village were found below the water by scuba divers.

- Lake Ohrid Trout. The endemic trout species is endangered and so illegal to fish in Macedonia. However, restaurants purchase the fish from Albania where it is not protected.
